Supporting Your Journey

Choosing the right day program is an important decision. This application helps our team learn more about the prospective trainee—their strengths, support needs, communication, daily living skills, interests, and goals.

At Autism Community Training, we recognize that every adult with autism is different. The information you provide helps us determine whether ACT can safely and appropriately support the individual and whether our program is a good fit for their needs.

After reviewing the application, a member of the ACT team will contact you to discuss next steps and answer any questions you may have.

If you need assistance completing this application or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team. We look forward to learning more about you and potentially welcoming you to our program.

Is ACT a Good Fit?

ACT serves adults with autism who benefit from structured teaching, visual supports, individualized assistance, and opportunities to practice meaningful skills in real-life settings.

Our trainees may need support with communication, emotional regulation, daily living skills, social participation, and completing everyday tasks. A need for significant support does not automatically exclude someone from ACT.

Because ACT is a community-based day program, we consider each applicant individually to determine whether we can safely and appropriately meet their needs within our current staffing, environment, and program model.
