Juliann McGirk serves as a Co-Teacher and helps lead ACT’s cooking instruction. Her professional background began in healthcare credentialing and provider relations before she spent 24 years raising her three daughters. She later had the opportunity to work alongside a culinary chef from France on his Nashville food truck, gaining hands-on experience in food preparation and culinary environments.
Juliann also brings experience supporting individuals with disabilities in school settings, as well as personal caregiving experience. At ACT, she combines her varied background with her interest in cooking to help trainees participate in practical, hands-on learning experiences that build everyday skills, confidence, and greater independence.
