Why does Autism Community Training accept donations?
Autism Community Training does not receive funding from insurance companies or government entities. Families currently pay out of pocket for our program, making charitable support essential to our mission. Donations help us keep our program affordable and accessible while providing adults with autism meaningful instruction that builds independence, strengthens daily living skills, and supports greater participation in their community. Your support helps ensure that cost does not stand in the way of an individual benefiting from ACT.

Your donation directly supports the cost of providing ACT’s training program and helps keep it affordable for the families we serve. Every gift helps adults with autism build greater independence, strengthen daily living and communication skills, participate meaningfully in their community, and develop skills they can carry with them throughout their lives. Your support allows us to provide meaningful, person-centered instruction while creating opportunities for our trainees to learn, grow, connect, and thrive.

Yes! Autism Community Training (ACT) operates under the Autism Foundation of Tennessee, a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations made to support ACT are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
